Martin Kelly is a strategic business consultant with twenty years plus of Human Resource Development (HRD) experience working with business leaders, management teams and individuals developing personal and organisational effectiveness. His key areas of expertise include:

Experience
Martin has over twenty years’ experience in Human Resource Development as a senior executive in Irish Life, one of Ireland’s largest financial institutions with a presence across a range of financial services markets both domestically and globally. Martin had responsibility for Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Acquisition & Development, Leadership Development & Internal Communications services for senior leaders and employees. His work was primarily focused on the delivery of high value HRD initiatives associated with the strategic and operational priorities of the organisation. In recent years his role expanded to include responsibility for HR integration with a new Canadian parent company, together with a global talent management and organisational development remit. Martin has significant experience in the complex work or organisational change specifically in relation to mergers, demergers and business integrations. His career history can be characterised as the powerful combination of commercial acumen and technical proficiency in Human Resource Development and Training.
As a coach Martin has provided extensive coaching to senior leadership and middle management levels assisting leaders and their teams achieve meaningful behavioural change that led to improved business performance. Some of Martin’s work has been with the sporting and voluntary sector, in the design and delivering of key HR and organisational change initiatives. He has designed and delivered a one year bespoke leadership development programme specifically for elite athletes on behalf of the Gaelic Players Association. A second & third iteration of this programme will be delivered in 2016 & 2017. Martin also coaches elite athletes, where he helps them to focus their strengths and passions on all aspects of their lives not just sporting.
Recently Martin has successfully established his own management consultancy, Think HR providing consultancy services across the full HR and Organisational Development value chain to large organisations, SMEs, sporting and voluntary sectors.
